SHARING YOUR JEFF HALL MEMORIES

Jeff Hall
This year, as you may already know, the Blues are commemorating the 50th anniversary of the death of Blues legend Jeff Hall.

Hall made 264 appearances during almost a decade at St. Andrew's, as well as collecting 17 England caps.

He was an integral part of the most successful ever Blues side which finished sixth in the First Division in 1956, and also reached the FA Cup final in the same season - the last time the club has achieved such heights in either competition.

He is also second only to Gil Merrick on the club's international honours board.

Hall, died tragically from polio, aged just 29 in 1959.

To mark the anniversary of his death, the Board of Directors of Birmingham City FC has commissioned a new memorial clock to take pride of place over the Main Stand.

The Sharing Memories website
The clock will be unveiled at our next home match Vs. Doncaster Rovers on 13 September.

As part of our initiatives to mark the anniversary of his death, we have also set up a memorial page on the Blues official fansite, 'Sharing Memories'.

We are inviting fans to upload any photos that they may hold of Jeff Hall so that we can build up an archive of memories to celebrate his life.

So if you have any photos of Jeff Hall, or even any photos of the original Jeff Hall Memorial Scoreboard and Clock we would love to see them.  Log on and upload them now.
