Blues Reserves secured a 2-1 over Crewe Alexandra's second string in a behind closed doors friendly at Wast Hills on Tuesday afternoon.

Franck Queudrue and Gary McSheffrey were on target for Blues.

The visitors took the lead midway through the first half with a well-taken curled shot from just outside the area.

But Blues equalised on the stroke of half time when Franck Queudrue pounced on a loose ball inside the Crewe box, before blasting a half volley into the far corner of the net.

The winning strike came from McSheffrey just after the hour mark when he fired in an inswinging free kick from some 20 yards out.

Dutch midfielder Kemy Agustien played the second half of the game for Blues.
