Manager Terry Westley was forced to play a number a first year scholars because of injuries to key players and the strength and experience of the non-league side proved decisive.
The Lockmen took the lead in the 15th minute, before doubling their advantage some ten minutes later.
It then became 3-0 just after the half time break.
Blues' cause was not helped after they missed penalty and were also reduced to ten men when James O'Brien received his marching orders in the second half after collecting two cautions.
Despite the defeat Westley was pleased with the way his young charges stood up to a much more physical side.
"It was men against boys," admitted Westley.
"You can get away with it when you've got a strong core down the middle of the pitch but, but we had a number of key players out like Jacob Rowe, Dan Preston and Jordon Mutch and Robert Gradwell.

"Not only were we young but we were physically very young strength wise and that was the only real difference
"Willenhall were very strong and very powerful and played well to be fair to them.
"We went 2-0 down and Charlie Kadalak has hit the outside of the post which could have made it 2-1.
"In the second half we've made a mistake and there lad has then got on it and scored.
"Michael McKerr has then missed a penalty which could have got us back in the game.
"But in terms of effort and application the boys deserve a lot of credit for playing as hard as they possibly could.
"I was pleased they stayed with it because it could have turned into a 5-0 or 6-0 scoreline."
