A Blues Academy team will travel out to Slovakia at the weekend for a mini pre-season tour.

Two Slovakian youngsters - Jacob Hronec and Julius Gombala recently signed scholarship forms with Blues and the destination for the tour is linked in with this.

Terry Westley's squad will play three games during their time in the country, as well taking part in coaching sessions with local clubs.

"We go over on Saturday and will play three games in five days," said Westley.

"The group will be anybody that doesn't go to Austria with the first team (on Sunday) and will include both reserve and youth team players.

"Whilst we're there the staff will also be doing some coaching and working with the staff at different clubs, as well as looking at some players.

"We come back on the Thursday and then that group of players will play against Burton."
