Jack Butland in action for England
Teenage Blues keeper Jack Butland has helped the England U17 team to tournament success in Portugal this week.

The young Three Lions won the Algarve Tournament for the second time in the space of three years, following their 0-0 draw with hosts Portugal in their final group match.

John Peacock's youngsters had earlier drawn 1-1 with France and beaten Ukraine 3-0.

Sixteen-year-old Butland kept goal in the win over Ukraine, as well the second half of the Portugal draw.

The highly-rated stopper has been a regular for Blues under-18s this season, where his impressive performances have won him plenty of plaudits.

Next month sees England U17s embark on their European Championship Elite Round qualifying campaign.

Matches against Sweden, Malta and Slovakia will take place at Burton Albion and Northampton Town.

The top placed team will qualify for the Euro finals taking place in Liechtenstein during May
