Young Blues defender Fraser Kerr has received a call-up to Scotland under-19s.

The 17-year-old centre-back will join up with his country for two behind-closed-doors friendlies against Malta at Greenock Morton's Cappielow Park on August 16 and 18. 

Kerr recently travelled to the Far East on the first team's pre-season tour as defensive cover and played the final 16 minutes of the last game against Liaoning Whowin.

The young Scot moved to Blues last summer from Motherwell and is now beginning the second year of his Academy scholarship.
