Fabrice Muamba with the the pupils of Lyndon Green Junior School
Blues and Principal Partner F&C Investments are getting together to give you the opportunity to do just that!

The F&C Schools Challenge, in association with the Birmingham Mail, was launched last week by Blues star Fabrice Muamba.

Fabrice spent the afternoon with the winners of last year's Flybe Community Cup competition; Lyndon Green Junior School in Solihull.

Not only did he take part in a questions and answers session with the year six pupils there, he even gave them a little lesson French!

This year the Blues are running a new football initiative for localschools: the F&C Schools Challenge.

This new competition is a one day six-a-side football tournament that will be held at St. Andrew's on Tuesday 20th May.

We are looking for 16 teams of Year 5 and 6 pupils (Under 11's) to compete at the tournament.

Each participating team will receive a full kit for their school team, courtesy of Umbro, whilst the winning team will also receive a fantastic selection of equipment for their school's PE department and tickets to a game in the 2008/09 season!

For your chance to be crowned Champions of the F&C Schools Challenge2008 simply ask your PE teacher to register your school team today.

Registration forms will be appearing in the Birmingham Mail from today.

All you need to do is complete the application form and submit 50 words detailing why your school should be selected.

Alternatively, you can log on to www.theblueszone.co.uk to apply online.

For further information please contact Samantha Reilly on 0844 557 1499 or email Samantha.reilly@bcfc.com.

NB. Please note application forms must come from the school.
