Before Christmas we asked you to vote for your choice of Legends XI to be honoured in our brand new Blues Hall of Fame right here on bcfc.com.

Blues 'record appearance holder and former manager Gil Merrick was the first former player to be inducted into the Hall of Fame last October when he officially opened the Legends Lounge.

Then towards the end of 2009 supporters were asked to choose those former Blues players that they felt should be inducted into the Hall of Fame alongside Gil.

After receiving thousands of votes the remaining ten places were announced on Friday night at a ceremony at St. Andrew's.

The final 11 were:
Gil Merrick
Trevor Francis
Bob Hatton
Christophe Dugarry
Kenny Burns
Jeff Hall
Geoff Horsfield
Joe Bradford
Bob Latchford
Mikael Forssell
Martin Grainger

The evening, which was arranged in conjunction with the Former Players' Association and hosted by Tom Ross, saw several hundred guests enjoy a three course meal, before the unveiling of pictures of the legends themselves.

Supporters, members of the board and former players gathered in the Legends Lounge to hear confirmation of those players who would be recognised in the Legends XI.

Of those players named in the Legends XI, Martin Grainger, Geoff Horsfield, Bob Hatton and Kenny Burns were all in attendance on Friday night to receive their accolades.

Here are a selection of photos from the evening.
