More than 170 people attended a successful quiz night staged by the Birmingham City Disabled Supporters Club at St. Andrew's last week.

Over £900 was raised at the event, which will go towards the Disabled Supporters Club's running costs and improving facilities.

Chief executive Michael Dunford and assistant first team manager Roy Aitken attended the event, as well as number of club staff who entered the quiz.

John Starkey, chairman of the Birmingham City Disabled Supporters Club said:"It was an absolutely fantastic night and couldn't have gone any better.

"As well as supplying the food and the venue a number of club staff entered teams into the quiz.

"It was also very positive to hear Michael Dunford's aim to try and make the Disabled Supporters Club one of the best in the country."
