QUARTET OFFERED NEW DEALS

Asa Hall
Asa Hall, in action for Blues Reserves last season, has been an offered another one-year deal.
Blues youngsters David Howland, Asa Hall, Nick Wright and Adam Legzdins have been offered new one-year professional contracts with the club.

The quartet have all played their part in the reserves' league title success and have been given another 12 months to impress the St. Andrew's management staff, although to-date only Howland has agreed and put pen to paper.

The Northern Ireland U21 international has been one of the key driving forces in the reserves' campaign.

The 20-year-old midfielder has been a regular in the second string for the last four seasons and was this season handed a first team squad number for the first time.

Hall, a 20-year-old midfielder or defender, scored four goals in reserve games and spent the last month of the season on loan at non-league side Ashford Town where he helped the Kent club avoid relegation from Ryman League Division One.

Hall, who has previously gained league experience at Boston United during a loan spell in the 2005/06 campaign, was joined at Ashford by Wright and the pair played 10 games during a busy end to the season.

Nick Wright
Nick Wright has been offered another 12 months at St. Andrew's.
Winger Wright, 19, who also has league experience from loan spells at Bristol City and Northampton, scored four goals for Ashford.

Legzdins continues to make a name for himself as an up-and-coming goalkeeper and his performances for the reserves have been rewarded with another 12-month deal.

The 20-year-old was handed a squad number early in the 2006/07 season and was on the bench for the Championship game at Cardiff as cover for Colin Doyle.

Legzdins spent loan spells at Alfreton Town and Halifax Town during 2005/06 and last season went to Oldham and Macclesfield.

Darren Campion
Darren Campion has been handed his first professional contract.
Three more Academy scholars, midfielder Lewis Green and defenders Darren Campion and Jared Wilson, have been offered their first ever one-year professional contracts.

The trio were an integral part of the under-18 side that reached the quarter finals of the FA Youth Cup.

Of the other second year scholars, Sone Aluko, Ryan Burge, Artur Krysiak and James McPike are already on professional contracts while Chris Murdock will be given extra time to earn a pro deal after suffering a long term injury.

Pat Kavanagh
Patrick Kavanagh scores for the Reserves in the pivotal league game against Shrewsbury but he will not be at Blues next season.
Meanwhile, Mathew Birley, Jamie Price, Jake Meredith and Mark Hall have all been released by the club and the young Irish duo of Patrick Kavanagh and Gary Dicker have also been told they have no future at St. Andrew's.

Other Academy recruits Sam Oji and Neil Kilkenny still have one and two years left on their respective contracts.
