MANAGERS' COMMENTS
Alex McLeish

We go into the game with great confidence against a team that is playing with great confidence also, so it should be a great game and quite rightly it's one of the big games in Britain this weekend.

We must be ready right at the referee's first whistle and make sure we don't make any early mistakes.

I'm sure we'll start as fast as Wolves will.

With the lead that they have they'll be seen as promotion favourites at this particular time, but you know how it changes.
They are the leaders at the moment and they're there on merit but some day they will get beaten we know that for a fact, but we've got to attempt to be that team this weekend.

They've been playing well at home; they played well last week they got another good victory in midweek.

I know what players are like in training after victories and I'm sure the Wolves training ground will be a bubbly place at the moment, but we've definitely got the capabilities to win the game.

They're a compact team that plays together and defends together and they have the obvious qualities in the front guys.

The front guys have scored an awful lot of goals and we have to be at our best if we are to get a result this weekend.

LAST MEETING AT THE MOLINEUX
Blues' 3-2 victory at Molineux in April 2007 has to go down as one of the most memorable games between the two clubs.

Colin Doyle saves the Wolves penalty
Amazingly it was goalless at half-time but burst into life just after the restart.

Andrew Cole put Blues into the lead with a deft flick before Michael McIndoe quickly reversed proceedings with two goals in four minutes.

With chance after chance going begging, Nicklas Bendtner drew level with a bullet header from a corner.

Cameron Jerome replaced Cole and with two minutes remaining sprung the offside trap to score with a spectacular solo effort.

Blues fans were prematurely celebrating victory when the referee awarded Wolves a penalty deep into injury time.

However, Colin Doyle had the last laugh denying McIndoe a hat-trick with a fine save that took Blues to the top of the table.
