Blues chairman David Gold today (Tuesday) exclusively contacted the official club website bcfc.com to let supporters know of his delight at becoming a grandparent this afternoon.

He said: "Great news, I have just become a grandpa chairman! My daughter Jacqueline gave birth to a beautiful baby girl called Scarlett Rose weighing in at six pounds and half an ounce.

"Mother and baby are doing well and I'm coping well with the extra responsibility!"
