Robin Shroot has today returned to Birmingham City FC after a loan period at Burton Albion FC.

The original agreement between Birmingham City and Burton Albion intended for Robin to stay with the club on a season long loan until May.

However after a period of deliberation between the player and management staff it was deemed in the best interests of both parties to end the deal prematurely and the standard loan will be 'formally' cancelled on 1 January when the transfer window re-opens.

Although Robin will still technically be on loan to the club until January he will no longer train with or represent Burton Albion Football Club.

Burton Albion have thanked Robin Shroot for his efforts in a Burton Albion shirt and wish him the best for his future career.
