Garry O'Connor

Alex McLeish says he expects Garry O'Connor to miss most, if not all of the remainder of the season.

The Scottish striker underwent surgery in November on a hip problem but is still on crutches as he recovers from his operation.

"Garry may just return toward the end, but he's still got a lot of rehabilitation to do," confirmed McLeish

"He had two hip operations and he's got to rehab from that and that's a long process.

"Wear and tear over the years makes demands on the body and playing in Russia for a year on astro turf is a factor as well."
