Gary McSheffrey has joined Leeds United on loan until the end of the season.
The Blues midfielder has found first-team opportunities limited this term, with only one Premier League start and four substitute appearances.
The 27-year-old, who is out of contract at the end of the season, travels to Yorkshire to join Simon Grayson's League One outfit.
The Whites are currently in second place in the league and are strong favourites for a return to the Coca-Cola Championship.
McSheffrey joined Blues from Coventry City in 2006 and became an instant fans' favourite with 16 goals in his first season at St. Andrew's. The midfielder has made a total of 96 appearances for Blues, scoring 20 goals.
