Kevin Phillips will return to the Blues squad to face Wolves on Sunday after missing Blues' last three games because of injury.

The striker had been suffering from a slight groin problem, but is now fully fit according to Alex McLeish.

Phillips' availability gives McLeish additional forward options, following the departures out on loan earlier this week of Gary McSheffrey and Marcus Bent, and with Garry O'Connor set to miss much of the remainder of the season with a hip injury.

"Kevin is back in the squad," confirmed the Blues boss on Friday afternoon.

"He's looking sprightly on the training ground and he's fighting hard to get on that pitch."
