Blues can today confirm that the club's third round Carling Cup tie against MK Dons will take place at St. Andrew's on Tuesday 21 September, with a 7.45pm kick off time.

Alex McLeish's side Blues progressed through to the third round with 3-2 win over Rochdale.

Meanwhile MK Dons overcame Walsall 2-1 in their first round tie, before dispatching Barclays Premier League side Blackpool 4-3 after extra time in round two.
