REF NAMED FOR LIVERPOOL GAME

Referee Mark Halsey
Referee Mark Halsey
Referee Mark Halsey will take charge of Sunday's Barclays Premier League between Blues and Liverpool at St. Andrew's.

The Lancashire-based official has refereed just two games so far this season, during which he has produced four yellow cards.

The last Blues game he took charge of was Blues' 2-0 Championship win against Wolves at St. Andrew's in April 2009.

On that occasion he sent off Lee Carsley for Blues and cautioned a solitary player for Wolves.

Mr Halsey will be assisted by Simon Long from Suffolk and Glenn Turner from Derbyshire.
