The date for Blues' FA Youth Cup third round tie at home to Manchester United has been set for Thursday December 15, kick-off 7pm at St. Andrew's Stadium.
Blues have fallen at the first hurdle of the country's most prestigious youth knockout tournament in each of the last three season's after defeats to Fulham, Leicester City and Sheffield United respectively.
Ironically the last time Blues got through the third round was in the 2001/02 campaign when, after victory over Torquay United, they were also drawn against United.
Blues put up a battling display in front of nearly 2,000 supporters at St. Andrew's but eventually lost 3-2 to a visiting side that included Darren Fletcher and Kieran Richardson in their line-up.
The December 15 clash at St. Andrew's will be free to season ticket holders and Junior Supporters Club members
Otherwise admission at the turnstiles will be £4 for adults and £2 for concessions.
