Serbian international striker Nikola Zigic joined Blues from Spanish La Liga side Valencia in the summer of 2010.
The Serbian international moved to St. Andrew's for an undisclosed fee on a four-year-deal.
As well as posing a major threat in the air, the 6ft 8in frontman is good on the ground and has an impressive goalscoring record wherever he has played.
He began his career in his home country with lower league clubs before securing a move to European giants Red Star in 2003.
During his time with Red Star he scored 71 goals in 110 games in all competitions and helped them to win the Serbian League and Cup double in both 2003-04 and 2005-06
He was subsequently named Serbia's Player of the Year in 2003, 2005 and 2006.
His goalscoring talent earned him a move to Spain in 2006 where he linked up with Racing Santander.
In his season at Santander he notched 11 goals 32 appearances, before he was snapped up by Valencia for a fee reported to be £13.5m.
He was loaned back to Santander in the 2008/09 campaign, and his impressive goalscoring prowess continued with 13 goals in 19 games.
Whilst at Valencia he made 28 appearances and scored five times.
During his first season at Blues, Zigic scored five times in 25 appearances, including the opener in Blues' 2-1 Carling Cup win over Arsenal in February 2011.
