Teenager Nathan Redmond made his first team bow in August 2010 when he was introduced as second half substitute in Blues' 3-2 Carling Cup victory over Rochdale in August 2010.
At 16 years 173 days he became the second youngest Blues debutant behind club legend Trevor Francis.
Kitts Green-raised Redmond joined Blues as an eight-year-old, having been spotted playing for local side Hardy Spicer.
The right winger started playing in Blues' under-18 side aged 14 before making his reserve team debut a year later.
Comfortable on the ball, Redmond has an abundance of pace and skill that can take him past defenders. He also has an eye for goal and is a regular scorer cutting in from the flanks.
He has represented England at Under 16 and Under 17 levels.
Redmond was given a three year professional contract by the club in March 2011.
