Born in Bristol, goalkeeper Jack Butland joined Blues' Academy in 2007.
Standing tall at six feet four inches, Butland is agile, an excellent shot stopper and commands his area superbly
During his time at the club he has benefited from training alongside no less than four international goalkeepers - Joe Hart, Maik Taylor, Colin Doyle and Ben Foster.
Regarded as one of the country's leading young goalkeepers, Butland has represented England at several age levels up to and including under 21.
His performances for Blues under 18s and reserve side saw him collect the club's 2009/10 Young Player of the Season award.
He was handed a first team squad number in May 2011, but has yet to make his first team bow.
Butland joined League Two side Cheltenham Town on loan in September 2011 and was with them until January 2012.
He rejoined them on a youth loan in February 2012, but was recalled by Blues in April as cover, after first-choice goalkeeper Boaz Myhill was injured.
During his two spells with The Robins he made a total of 24 appearances.
