Birmingham City Football Club have not entered a team into a reserve league this season. We could have applied for membership of the Football League Central Reserve League but have decided against this option.

Alex McLeish and Academy manager Terry Westley, who takes charge of the reserves, have agreed that it would be more beneficial to organise regular friendlies instead.

Reserve team fixtures will, where possible, be played at our alternative venue of Damson Parkway, with occasional fixtures also being staged at St. Andrew's.

There will, however, also be occasions when home reserve team fixtures will be scheduled during weekday afternoons and played 'behind closed doors' at Wast Hills training ground.
