Work continues at St. Andrew's

Work to erect a new large screen at St. Andrew' s is happening in earnest - as the contractors keep right on to prepare your club for the Premier League.

As part of a series of pledges the giant monitor is being put in place in the corner of St. Andrew's between the Main Stand and Gil Merrick Stand.

The concrete has been cracked and the foundations are being put in place for the 50-square metre screen, which will become a real focal point and add to the atmosphere on a hoWork continues at St. Andrew'sme matchday.

Last week here at bcfc.com we also brought you the first update on work to revamp the Blues Superstore at St. Andrew's.

We also kept supporters in the loop with regards to the other work being carried out to improve the off-field infrastructure.

As well as the signing of six new players - with the promise of more to come within the next month - there's been a £500,000 installation of undersoil heating and a new playing surface at the stadium and ongoing work to modernise the Wast Hills training complex.

A new tannoy system has been put in place at St. Andrew's and no less than £1 million is being spent on improving the Main Stand. Other areas of the stadium being improved include corporate lounges, the dug-outs and changing rooms.
