Blues have been lending their support to the British Heart Foundation's February Heart Month campaign.
The pop band Miccoli visited Wast Hills earlier this week to promote their new single Angels & Demons, in which all proceeds are being donated to the British Heart Foundation.
As part of Blues' Our City Our Vision initiative Craig Gardner, Jake Jervis and Robin Shroot met the three piece sibling group to help raise awareness of heart and circulatory diseases.
Twin brothers from the band Alessandro and Adrian suffer from the heart condition Wolf Parkinson White Syndrome and the single, which was released on Monday, is not only hoping to raise money but increase awareness of heart problems in young adults.
"It was great to meet Miccoli and find out about their unique story," Gardner told bcfc.com.
"I really hope the single sells well and raises a lot of money for the British Heart Foundation."
Alessando from Miccoli said: "We would like to thank Birmingham City FC for helping raise awareness of Wolfe Parkinson White Syndrome. We hope that Blues fans will continue this support and help us reach our target of £15,000 by texting Angels 78789 to download the single Angels and Demons or download it from 7 Digital , iTunes, Amazon and HMV.
"We want to use our single to make young people aware of the fact that heart problems can be found at all ages, not just older people and to help raise money for the British Heart Foundation at the same time."
