Natalie Rogers |
Daredevil Blues fan Natalie Rogers has set her sights on becoming Miss Birmingham 2010 - and there's charity as well as bravery behind her bid for the title.
The lifelong supporter, from Great Barr, is one of 23 finalists aiming to bag the winner's sash at the final on 1 April and raising cash for a worthwhile cause will help her bid.
Along with the other competitors, 24-year-old Natalie is helping to make money for Cancer Research's breast cancer appeal and the brave Bluenose has already committed to taking part in a bungee jump on 21 March as well as other fundraising activities.
Natalie, pictured here at St. Andrew's Stadium to highlight Blues' support for her fundraising efforts as part of the Our City, Our Vision project, says: "I've supported Birmingham City all my life so I'm really proud and grateful that the club are backing my fundraising.
"My dad and brother are both season ticket holders at Blues so they will be really jealous that I got to go on the pitch!
"But, annoying my family aside, the most important part of coming to St. Andrew's was to profile the great cause and I'm hoping that as many supporters as possible will sponsor me for the bungee jump."
