A taste of the London 2012 Paralympics comes to Birmingham in just a few days time as the World Wheelchair Basketball Championships comes to the city.
And here at Blues we are showing our support for the finest players in the world by getting involved in helping to promote the event - and make finals day even more fun.
Disabled Supporters Club Liaison Officer John Starkey is helping to distribute WWBC leaflets and club mascot Beau Brummie is taking a lead role by helping to entertain the crowds when the finalists battle it out on 17 July.
The best teams in the world will be competing to be crowned world champions from 7 to 17 July in what will be the last big wheelchair basketball competition before the Paralympics in 2012. The 10 day tournament at the National Indoor Arena will see 12 male and 10 female teams from five continents compete.

Great Britain's men's and women's teams will be looking to make home advantage count as they kick off the championships on Wednesday 7 July. The women start their bid for glory against The Netherlands at 3pm followed by the men at 5pm against South Korea.
Finals day on 17 July is sure to be a popular day with the women's bronze medal match starting a great day of basketball at 9am. The women's gold medal match will then take place at 1.30pm with the men's gold medal match at 4pm. There will also be entertainment for the family including Beau's appearance.
It's an exciting, action packed sport with plenty of thrills and spills and it promises to be a great value family day out with prices starting at just £3 for the midweek matches and season tickets available for just £15. Visit the event website www.2010wwbc.co.uk or call 0844 338 0338 to get tickets for this must-see tournament.
The event is being organised by Great Britain Wheelchair Basketball Association and Birmingham City Council with support from the National Lottery through UK Sport's World Class Events Programme.
