Former Inverness Caledonian Thistle midfielder Andy Shinnie joined Blues in the summer of 2013 after his contract with SPL club came to an end.
The Aberdeen-born player signed a three-year deal with the club and made his Blues debut in a 1–0 defeat to Watford on the opening day of the 2013/14 season.
The Scotland international began his career at Glasgow Rangers, where he spent two spells out on loan at Dundee.
In the summer of 2011 Shinnie moved to the north of Scotland to link-up with Highland outfit ICT.
In total he made 46 appearances and scored 16 goals in his season-long stint with Terry Butcher's side as they finished in an impressive fourth place in the Scottish top flight.
Shinnie's performances for Caley saw him nominated for the PFA Scotland Player-of-the-Year Award.
