Blues completed the loan signing of Wales U21 midfielder Emyr Huws from Manchester City on 28 January 2014.

The 20-year-old joined the club on an initial one-month youth loan, up to and including Saturday 1 March.

Huws, who hails from Llanelli, began his footballing career as a youngster with Swansea City, with whom he spent five years before being snapped up by City in 2009.

During his time with the Barclays Premier League club, he has captained City's U21 squad. He spent a period out on loan with Sky Bet League Two side Northampton Town earlier last season, where he made ten appearances for the Cobblers.

He made his senior bow for his parent club in January 2014 as a substitute against Blackburn Rovers in an FA Cup with Budweiser third-round replay victory.
