He predominantly plays at left-back, but can also play on the left of midfield.
Hancox, who grew up supporting Blues, made his first team bow for the club in October 2012 as a late substitute.
He later went on to make 20 appearances during the 2012/13 campaign.
In the summer of 2013, he signed a three-year deal that runs until June 2016.
