A product of Blues Academy, American youth international Will Packwood can play in either defence or midfield.
Born in Massachusetts, Packwood has an English father who hails from Solihull and an American mother, therefore has dual US and British nationality.
Having signed a two-year professional contract with Blues in the summer of 2011, he made his first-team breakthrough during the 2012/13 season.
He went on to make seven senior appearances as a right full-back, however his debut campaign was cut short when he suffered a badly broken left leg during the FA Cup fixture at Leeds United in January 2013.
Packwood signed a one-year contract extension in the summer of 2013.
