The teenage midfielder has been with the Club since the age of ten and made rapid progress through the Academy ranks.

He made his first team debut as a substitute in Blues' Sky Bet Championship away game against Burnley in September 2013.

The England youth international's first start was against Bristol Rovers in an FA Cup with Budweiser third round tie on January 14, 2014, which Blues won 3-0.

Hailing from Dudley, Brown is calm on the ball and has an excellent range of passing. Despite his small stature he is also good in the tackle.

In August 2014 Brown joined League One side Notts County on a one month loan. During his time with the Magpies he made four appearances.

In June 2016, Brown signed a one-year contract extension with Blues which will run until 2017.

On 31 January 2017, Brown joined league Two side Chesterfield on a Standard Loan until the end of the 2016/17 campaign. However, having made just two substitute appearances for the Spireites his loan was cut short and he returned to Birmingham.

He will not be eligible to play for the Blues First team for the remainder of the 2016/17 campaign.
