Former Polish international goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszcak joined Blues in July 2015 on a two-year deal, after leaving Wolverhampton Wanderers earlier in the summer.
The experienced stopper began his playing career in Germany with Hertha Berlin, before making the switch to England to link up with West Bromwich Albion in 2004.
After three years at the Hawthorns, which also included a spell out on loan at Manchester United, the Red Devils made the deal permanent in 2007.
Although the Pole found his first team opportunities limited at Old Trafford he was a member of the squad that won three Premier League titles and two League Cups.
After five years and 48 appearances for the Reds, he moved down to the south coast to join up with Brighton & Hove Albion.
He was a regular for the Seagulls during his two-year spell with them, before being released at the end of the 2013/14 campaign.
In his first season at St. Andrew's Kuszczak made 42 appearances.
