Born in London, the pacy midfielder was with Crystal Palace as a youngster, before being released by the Eagles and then picked up by the Blues Academy as 16-year old in 2012.

A quick and powerful winger, he signed his first professional deal in June 2014.

He made his Blues First Team debut as a late substitute in the Capital One Cup second round victory against Gillingham at St. Andrew's on 25 August 2015.

He scored his first senior goal with a fantastic solo effort, in the 5-2 thrashing of Fulham at Craven Cottage in November 2015.

Having impressed during the first half of the season, Solomon-Otabor signed new three-and-a-half year deal in January 2016.

By nature of his parents' country of birth, Solomon-Otabor is eligible to play for Nigeria and last year was invited to attend trials for Nigeria's Olympic team, where he trained with the team ahead of their 2015 All-Africa Games campaign.
