Making St. Andrew's Accessible
Birmingham City Football Club takes pride in its facilities for disabled people fand ully committed for the needs of the disabled supporters. The Club also follows the Health and Safety Regulations guidelines and the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) where disabled people should not be treated less favourably, and the Club adheres to these procedures.
Birmingham City Football Club would encourage disabled supporters to bring a personal assistant when attending matches, in the event of any emergency evacuation arising. All disabled people must follow the ground regulations and evacuation contingency plans.
1. Wheelchair Areas
The Club has six wheelchair areas in the stadium. One in the Tilton Road Stand, one in the Kop Stand, two in the Railway End Gil Merrick Stand and one in the Paddock stand. These areas create a total of 66 places for wheelchair users.
2. Visually Impaired
The Club is able to accomodate visually impared supporters. A limited number of headsets are available on request (please book in advance with BCFC reception before matchday). There is a £5 deposit, which is refundable upon return of the headsets on the same day.
3. Learning Difficulties/Hard of Hearing
There are limited seats available in the paddock area for supporters who have such conditions.

5. Access and Exits
Access and exits are flat with wide gates and signage.
6. Toilets and Catering
Both toilets and catering can be found behind the wheelchair areas in all stands.
7. Car Parking
Car Parking is limited, therefore the spaces are allocated to disabled supporters with the most severe mobility difficulties and it is not possible to accommodate everyone who has a blue/orange badge.
8. Away Travel
Any disabled person wishing to travel to away games should contact the Ticketing Manager Aamir Javaid to book tickets and car parking.
Away Supporters Visiting St. Andrew's
All match tickets are sent to your own club's ticket office. Should visually impaired supporters require headsets please contact BCFC reception on 0121 772 0101, two days prior to the fixture. There is a £5 deposit for these headsets. This is refundable when the headsets are returned on the day.
Car parking is in the away car park, Coventry Road. The car park has limited spaces and so they are available on a first come-first served basis. There is a small charge for this facility.
