Richard Beale senior professional development coach

Senior Professional Development Coach Richard Beale is one of Blues' most experienced coaching staff, having joined the Club in 2003.

Beale is now in his eighth year as reserve/Under-23s coach having previously worked within the Academy as a coach.  

He was integral in the development of now full England internationals Nathan Redmond and Jack Butland and England Under-21 player and Premier League winner Demarai Gray.

He is a UEFA Pro-Licence coach and also a BSc Sports Science and LMA Diploma in Football Management.  

In his younger days, Beale played for Port Vale as a youth player, then played professionally in the USA and semi-pro in England with Solihull, Telford and Stafford Rangers.
