Walsall-born Charlie Wellings joined the Club’s Centre of Excellence aged 13 and has remained ever since, playing at all age groups all the way up to the First-Team.
Wellings' First Team debut came in the Continental Tyres Cup game against Oxford in the 2014 season, aged 16, and she has since gone on to make 64 competitive appearance for the First-Team up until the end of the 17/18 season.
She made history in May 2017 by scoring the Club’s first goal at Wembley in the SSE Women’s FA Cup Final defeat to Man City.
Wellings has represented England at the youth age groups and is currently part of the Under-20s squad.
She was part of the bronze medal winning Under-20s team from the FIFA WU20 World Cup in 2018.
