Blues initially signed experienced Charlton Athletic defender Michael Morrison on a two-month emergency loan deal on 31 October 2014.
But following a string of impressive performances, the deal was made permanent in January 2015 when Morrison put pen to paper on a three-and-a-half-year contract.
He began his caerer as a trainee at Cambridge United. He later moved onto Leicester City and Sheffield Wednesday, before making the switch to Charlton in 2011. He was an almost ever-present in his first three seasons with the Addicks, missing just four league games.
His performances during his debut campaign at the Valley earned him a place in the PFA's divisional team of the year as his side romped to the League One title.
He continued to be a mainstay of the Addicks defence during the next two seasons in the Championship and sealed third place in the club's Player of the Year awards at the end of the 2013/14 season.
Centre-half Morrison is currently Blues' team captain and he surpassed the 100-appearance milestone for the Club during the 2016/17 season.
