BCFC Community Trust training and employability pathways complement and enhance the Trust's Further/Higher Educational delivery.  The pathways are designed to support, enrich and meet the needs of the local Birmingham community.

Kick start your career with BCFC Community Trust’s Sports Coaching traineeship.

The BCFC Community Trust are recruiting for their new and dynamic Sports Traineeship Programme which launched April 2021. This free programme provides participants with a fantastic opportunity to develop new skills that can lead towards meaningful long-term employment.

The traineeship programme offers participants:

  • Opportunity to gain important employability skills in the field of sports coaching.
  • High-quality academy and community football work experience opportunities.
  • Functional skills.
  • A fully funded DBS check, allowing participants to work in schools and with young people.
  • Support with future employment.
  • Gain industry-recognised coaching qualifications.

The twelve-week programme can be accessed by those aged 16 -18 years, school leavers or anyone who is currently unemployed. 5 days a week attendance required.

Gain important employability skills in customer service, hospitality, security, and office administration.

The twelve-week programme is open to those aged 16-18 years, further education leavers and individuals who are currently unemployed and wish to upskill.  There will also be the opportunity for course participants to enhance their functional English and mathematics skills if required.

The course is free to attend with five days a week attendance required.

Gain industry-recognised coaching qualifications in football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, netball, walking sports, and many more.

BCFC Community Trust are recruiting for their exciting Apprenticeship Programme, aimed at those who want to upskill, whilst giving something back to the local community.

Apprenticeship details:

  • 12 and 15 months working as part of the BCFC Community Trust team.
  • Access to a work experience placement.
  • Additional job-related qualification opportunities.
  • Fully funded DBS, allowing you to work in schools, vulnerable adults, and young people.

Participants will be provided with a fantastic opportunity to personally develop new skills that lead towards meaningful, permeant and long term employment.

Gain industry standard qualifications that will lead to employment with Network Rail or within the wider construction industry.

This 12-week programme is available free of charge for individuals aged 19 – 24 years of age with participants required to attend five days a week.

The programme will allow participants to improve their employability skills in addition to their functional English and mathematics skills if required.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants are guaranteed an interview with Network Rail or one of BCFC Community Trust’s partners within the construction industry.
