Oliver Basey joins Hednesford Town on youth loan
Teenage goalkeeper Oliver Basey has joined Hednesford Town on a youth loan.
The spell runs until 5 January and the 18-year-old becomes immediately available for selection at Keys Park.
Basey joined Blues as a first-year professional in the summer, having recently played at Sunderland before his switch to the West Midlands.
The imposing shot-stopper has become an important figure in Steve Spooner’s Under-23s side since his move to Blues, turning out four times so far this season.
Staffordshire-based Hednesford Town currently sit 10th in the Southern League Premier Division and face Nuneaton Borough tomorrow afternoon.
Good luck, Oli.
