Christmas at the Kop comes to St. Andrew's
Christmas is coming to the Kop this weekend, Saturday 11 December, 12-3pm
For our fixture against Cardiff City, we welcome local street food vendors, luxury hot chocolate, market stalls and Santa’s Grotto to the car park for our final home game of the festive season.
Centred around a giant heated marquee, supporters can grab an Up The Blues burger from beef specialists Meat Meets Bun; spiced tikka chicken coated in butter sauce is available from Ranv’s Rasoi; City Kitchen will be serving festive baps with the trimmings; and Dinkin Dim Sim will be serving up Chinese-inspired dumplings filled with chicken, vegetables and vegan options.
Artisan barista Cabucinnos will be pouring a full range of coffees, hot chocolates with all the extras and their latest creation – Biscoff Espresso Martinis – to enjoy whilst you browse a huge selection of vintage Blues shirts from Lovintage Footy. You can also pick up Christmas gifts from Tropic Skincare or the Blues Store, and even win match-worn shirts, signed merch or a hospitality box at the BCFC Community Trust raffle.
There’s entertainment for the whole family too – Changing Room Bar regulars will recognise Sammy Rogers who will be playing a double set under the heated marquee; Tom Ross will be putting his questions to Paul Devlin and Martin O’Connor; and junior Bluenoses can visit Santa in his grotto in front of the Happy Abode and pick-up a special gift.
The grills and bars open at 12 noon and will finish as the game kicks off at 3pm. Be sure to head down and show your support for local independent traders as Christmas at the Kop mrks the festive season at St. Andrew’s. Please note, whilst all traders endeavour to be contactless, some traders may be cash only.
