Premier League Kicks
PREMIER LEAGUE KICKS AT THE BIRMINGHAM CITY COMMUNITY TRUST
KICKS is a national Premier League campaign aimed at developing young people in some of the most high need areas in and around the City. The campaign not only provides sporting activities but also offers routes into education , employment and training and the opportunity to gain voluntary experience.
Some of our sessions are run in partnership with West Midlands Police with a focus on breaking down barriers between young people and the police to serve as a way of reducing crime and anti social behaviour. We deliver activities at diversionary times and offer workshops and mentoring sessions to deliver key messages on pertinent issues including racism, knife crime and rail safety. The programme supports the younger generation with the social challenges they face and to work towards safer and more inclusive communities.
Last year over 400 young people engaged on our Kicks programmes which we deliver in the heart of our community. The sessions are open to all genders and abilities for those aged 8-18 years old and are free to attend.
We run sessions throughout the week across the City. For information on our sessions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
