Blues' Juninho Bacuna receives Curacao call-up

Juninho Bacuna has been picked to represent Curacao in their opening 2022/23 CONCACAF Nations League games.

The Blue Family were drawn in Group C of League A back in April and will play a round-robin, home and away format with their two opponents.

This schedule will see Bacuna and his teammates face Honduras at the Stadion Ergilio Hato, Willemstad, on Friday 3 June, before travelling west for the reverse fixture at the Estadio Olimpico Metropolitano, San Pedro Sula, three days later.

Curacao's action for this international break will conclude nearly 6,500km north when they take on Canada on Monday 13 June at BC Place, Vancouver.

Birmingham City's midfielder currently has 12 caps and will be looking to add to this total during the Nations League fixtures that also serve as the qualification process for next year's Gold Cup.

Good luck, Juninho!
