Blues' Neil Etheridge set for Philippines action
Blues goalkeeper Neil Etheridge has been called up by the Philippines for their AFC Asian Cup qualification matches.
The Azkals will play three games during what is the third round of qualification as they look to qualify for 2023's Asian Cup, either as winners of Group B or by being one of the five best runners-up.
Travelling to Mongolia, where the trio of matches will all be played at the Football Center MFF in the capital Ulaanbaatar, Etheridge will face Yemen on Wednesday 8 June, Mongolia on Saturday 11 June and Palestine on Tuesday 14 June.
This announcement comes amidst the Philippines' training camp in Manila, ahead of which Thomas Dooley was appointed for his second spell in charge of the national team.
Good luck, Ethers!
