Report: Fulham Under-18s 5-0 Blues Under-18s

Blues Under-18s were beaten by Fulham in the Premier League South on Saturday afternoon.

Blues stay 13th in their Maiden category 1 campaign, whilst the Cottagers clocked a seventh win in succession following victory at Motspur Park.

After battling in a superb 1-1 draw against Arsenal last time out, Blues headed to West London full of confidence but found themselves behind early on.

Lemar Gordon was quickest to capitalise after a clearance fell right at his feet, the winger smashing home the opener inside 15 minutes. And just four minutes later, the 16-year-old had his second. Terrell Works broke from midfield, before finding Gordon who steadied himself from the edge of the area and fired a left-footed effort into the bottom corner.

Blues withstood more home pressure to reach the break at 2-0 and after the restart, began well and had their first real opportunity of the game. After excellent battling in the middle-of-the-park, Morgan Dance was slipped through the Whites' lines, flashing his right-footed shot at Michael Allen, who got down well.

Blues continued to compete with their opponents but found themselves three down 20 minutes from time when a free kick 25 yards from goal was dispatched by Matthew Dibley Dias.

With Fulham building up a head of steam, substitute Michael Olakigbe dispatched just two minutes after being introduced and Oliver Sanderson added a late fifth following unselfish play from Luc De Fougerolles.
