Blues have signed top Polish goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak

Kuszczak becomes the second new goalkeeper to join Blues in less than a week, following the arrival of Adam Legzdins.

The experienced stopper began his playing career in Germany with Hertha Berlin, before making the switch to England to link up with West Bromwich Albion in 2004.

After three years at the Hawthorns, which also included a spell out on loan at Manchester United, the Red Devils made the deal permanent in 2007.

Although the Pole found his first team opportunities limited at Old Trafford he was a member of the squad that won three Premier League titles and two League Cups.

After five years and 48 appearances for the Reds, he moved down to the south coast to join up with Brighton & Hove Albion.

He was a regular for the Seagulls during his two-year spell with them, before being released at the end of the 2013/14 campaign. Most recently he was with Wolves on a short-term deal.
