Gary Rowett - For us to win at home again was a huge thing

Blues have picked up two wins and two draws in the last five games that have also included three clean sheets.

And with confidence and swagger returning to St. Andrew's, as well as key players from injury, Rowett thinks they're heading into another busy period in good shape.

"I think the benefit we had was that the changes we made were actually big key players for us to come back into the side.

"That was a huge factor for us.

"As you know for MK Dons to have to leave two or three of their better players out and use them as impact of the bench and for us to bring back the likes of Clayton Donaldson, the likes of Robbo, Stephen Gleeson I think had a huge impact.

"I’m pleased with the way the squad's coped so far over that busy period and I think with the Championship and FA Cup coming up it doesn’t get that much easier.

"But I think once we get through the next four or five games, it then goes Saturday to Saturday for about six games.

"Again, it’s about digging in and getting through the period, getting a few bodies in and then seeing where we are in four/five games time.

"For us to win at home again was a huge thing, to win back to back games at home when we’ve not been as good at home results wise I’m sure will give everyone a huge amount of confidence.

"And it actually turns the run we’ve been on, to not a bad run.

"Two wins, two draws and a defeat in the last five games is actually quite a positive period for us.

"We’re getting players back, so I think it’s been really really positive."
