The summer window closes at 6pm on Tuesday 1 September, 2015. Football League clubs can also bring in loan players thereafter.
Speaking after the news that Lee Novak has been allowed to join Chesterfield on loan and asked he he had any replacements lined up, Rowett said: "I think there is always something imminent.
"I could have probably signed 50 players in the last two weeks but I’m waiting for the ones that I want. I did that in the summer.
"That patience will pay off long-term.
"I could almost guarantee that we’ll have two more players in before the window shuts, but which two players we manage to conclude the deals is very difficult to say. But that’s certainly something we will do.
"I know there is a clamour to do it straightaway but we’ve got another week after the Burnley game. The Burnley squad is going to be the Burnley squad anyway, so why rush into it desperately."
