Thomas will be available for Swindon’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy fixtures and, as per the terms of a Standard Loan registration, there shall be no recall during the loan.
Thomas is currently in his second spell with the Club after making a total of 11 appearances, scoring three goals, during the 2012/13 campaign.
This season, Thomas scored a brace in the Club’s 2-0 win against Gillingham as well as starting against Bristol Rovers in the Capital One Cup First Round.
Overall, the striker has scored eight goals in 39 appearances, since arriving permanently, in June, 2014.
The 27-year-old Londoner started with non-league sides Waltham Forest, Thurrock and Fisher Athletic before joining Dagenham & Redbridge. Following loan spells at Grays Athletic and Rushden & Diamonds, Thomas joined Cheltenham Town before moving to Crawley Town.
After a short spell with the West-Sussex based outfit he joined Bournemouth. Following a season with the Cherries, he went out on loan again, to Portsmouth, Blackpool and Blues. He then made the switch to Rotherham in January 2014, where he found the back of the net six times in 16 appearances.
