Andrew Shinnie loaned to Rotherham United

Shinnie cannot be recalled by Blues during his loan period and he is ineligible to play for the Millers against us on Saturday 13 February.

So far this season, 26–year-old Shinnie has made 17 appearances and scored one goal for Gary Rowett's side. He signed a new deal with the Club last summer which is due to run until 2018.

His last appearance for Blues came earlier this month in a 2-1 home defeat to Bournemouth in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup.

Rotherham, who are managed by Neal Redfearn are currently struggling in 21st place in the Championship - one point out of the bottom three.

Shinnie will link up with two former Blues players at the New York Stadium - winger Chris Burke and striker Matt Derbyshire.

The Millers are next in action this coming Saturday when they play host to Charlton Athletic.
